Sitter :D

Well Tytan had his 4 month check up on May 23. It went great!! He weighs 14 lbs 6 oz and is 25.5 inches tall. He got all his vaccinations done, that is until 6months comes along. His doctor said he was amazed at Ty s strength and has accomplished some milestones that a 6month would be doing.  I was complemented on doing such a great job with him. Tys doctor also said that I can start solids now, which I have been doing the cereal rice for about 2 weeks now. BUT I just started carrots and he seems to like them, still getting used to the idea of the taste but overall he eats it all.  I cannot believe how fast he is growing and learning. ah. I guess its just life. Well anyways here is something new that Ty can do! Hes getting better at doing it also.

Eat it or Starve

Alright. Updating News, brought to you live from Emaly. 

Here is the front of our home :]

 I am slowly working towards finishing my home. And yes they are all finished and decorated, but one. Which is the hall way, but when I get to that wall I will tell you why its not done.  Here is my kitchen. I love, love, love it. I went from a year with no kitchen and eating space to BAM, eating space and kitchen counters and a full sized stove! OhYeah! I am so not complaining! So here are some pictures, for give my dirty dishes. I am working on them. :]

First Time Eating Cereal!

Last night, I decided it was time to give Ty a chance to try some cereal! This small step in giving a little more food hoping he wouldn't be so fussy and to sleep a little better. Brilliant idea, didn't work. I blame G-Ma. (Grandma) I still love her though, it was a fun experience.  He was unsure at first, kinda liked it then didn't. Ty is also still a little small to sit in the high chair, so he ate in his saucer. And I mixed in his Cherry flavored vitamins hoping that the taste would be somewhat familiar. Not sure it really made a difference. haha

Here it all is. You heard it from me! 


On Thursday it was a beautiful sunny day! So Tom and I took Ty to the little park area around our complex. It was his first day out in the sunny sun shine. ( Say that 5 times fast ) Ty swung on the swings and went down the slide. But the best part was his first time in the grass. He was really unsure of it and it was a lot harder to pull out than peoples hair.  Here are a few pictures of our day at the park.

And to day Friday the 13th. We went with our good friends Becca and Awesome Chad to First Dam. Its a small little lake that people swim in ( if your daring, and want some kinda  of disease.) and feed the local ducks that hang out around there.  We all picnicked and fed the lazy ducks! Here are our adventures!

My Special Day

One year ago today, I found out that I was carrying one of Gods miracles. It came as a surprise.  This is how it went down. I took a home pregnancy test that morning then jumped in the shower, I was sure it was going to say no anyways, so that's why I didn't wait for the results. Next thing I know is that Tom in the bathroom yelling, " IT SAYS YES!". " LOOK TO PINK LINES!!". and after constant yelling i turn around and hes fully dressed in the shower with me,"Look see! It says YES!". It was so funny, here's Tom fully clothed all soaked screaming YES YES. After the shower ordeal, I was like I gotta take another one just to double check. Tom volunteered his services, running to Walmart to pick up another test. He returns excitedly with a box," Look this one will say PREGNANT.". So in after all was said and done, I ended up actually taking 4 at home tests that all read pregnant. In one way or the other.  Then it was okay, no going back now! Pregnancy was hard at sometimes, but defiantly worth it. It was an amazing experience and it was beyond special. The bond you make with your baby is so amazing, even before they are born they know you. They know your voice and your heartbeat. I love my son, I love my Tytan. Im so glad to be his Mommy.

Finger Movement Galore

So recently Ty has gotten the hang of some motor skills. Using his fingers. He is now able to grab and pick up toys to his mouth. He loves to eat them and yell at them.  Ty has also learn that he can grab hair, he likes to "feel" toms hair, then all the sudden pull it. So I decided that I would catch it on camera, but the whole time he was more interested in the camera! For once! He would not stop looking at it. 

On the other hand, Ty loves to help me type. He loves the keyboard and try s to grab it.  haha. Sometimes my words have extra letters or spaces and other times I am typing and the computer is not typing because the menu bar is up. Thank you Tytan your learning fast. Here is Ty typing, you can see that I was chatting on Facebook then I'm not the Menu bar is up and Ty is trying to search for K. ? Its a little blurry, sorry.

So in the meantime when he is not tugging at our hair and typing messages to my friends, he eats his toys and grabs his feet. Like I mentioned earlier. So here are just some pictures of that - Oh yeah, we put him in the bouncer sitting normal and we find that he likes to sit side ways. Does the same thing when he goes to bed too. 

So I have covered whats new with the Kid. and Now, whats new with us! Tomorrow May 2  means we have officially been living in Logan for a year now! A whole year ,a long year.  Tom starts school here on May 16 and he picked out a few good classes. I don't count any type of math class as good, just a nightmare. I have almost gotten my house put together just finishing putting objects on the walls, and I need to clean it. Then there will be pictures for all to see. Yippie! Living in our new place has so much more of a home feeling and not a prison feeling.  I have actually walls and a kitchen and space. The other place had the cement brick walls and no space what so ever. So its a heavenly change. Sorry this post is long, I just didn't want to make 5 million different posts,at least I posted the important person first! hahaha

The Best things.....

...... In life aren't things. A few days ago, I was watching a music channel on tv and a song came on, I fell in love.  I listened and realized that for a while now I am always wishing that I had more money to buy this or that for a reason or another reason.  But what I didnt realize is that the best things in life are things. They are the people you love, who you meet, and who you will come to meet. Sure buying things are a lot easier than trying to buy a friendship, but are they as worth it? Things can be come lost and forgotten, but not the people we love and hold close. Sure we may lose contact after high school and you may meet up in the future and have this amazing friendship again.  Or you meet the person your gonna marry, you may create a new life. Well anyways,  here is the song that kinda inspired me with knowledge that its true, the best things in life aren't things, they are living and  breathing........... things can be replaced 99 % of the time. Loved ones can't be.
