His Game Face

I have grown up being a Ute fan, and Loved watching the football games whether  it was in the stadium eating hot dogs with my dad or sitting on the couch with a hot, yummy, bowl of Chili.  Tom really doesn't care about football teams, So I will claim under the Ute's. :] He actually claims the Aggies, which is totally fine. He calls it the meditation because his family are BYU fans. 
So I am excited to be able to share moments with Tytan like I did with my dad. Now that I have cable, I am able to watch the games and cheer like the crazy fan in the stands! So we are getting ready!!! Whoot Whoot!! 

Tummy Time

So new updates, while putting back the house together, we make sure to take time to play with Tytan. Recently hes been super amazing at rolling over all by himself and doing it super quick and multiple times. Its so fun! And the other night when I was talking to him and tickling him,he began to laugh! ! ! ! Laugh! ! ! I was like freaking out, and Tom missed it because he was else where. Then last night Tytan was laughing every second that he could, and Tom was there to witness it. Only thing was, Tom couldn't get him to laugh. Only I can ;D. Hes growing so fast. Along more fun things, we finally got part of his room together and we have introduced sleeping in his own bed. The Crib. We generally put him in it for naps. 

Other than that at night he ends up in bed with me and Tom.......

Yup.... He takes up a lot of room. 

Other than those few updates, we are almost done unpacking. I wont be posting pictures till I get all the boxes out and things put in their place. Along with things on the walls. So once that happens I will show you all our new home.  Tom will be registering for school soon, I think hes somewhat excited. Its going to be wierd that once he does he will be basically gone all day. Since he works nights he has been able to be home in the day with me and the pipsqueak. Which is wonderful, because Tom gets his time with Tytan.

Paint Hands Turned Deadly

Well my latest project was to frame Tytans hand prints for his room. We all know that babys hand prints are just adorable and meant for keepsakes, right? Well I failed miserably. We stuck his hands in green paint, but we could not make him open his hands what so ever.  That ended in the results of :

So yes, it was awesome! Tytan decided to wear the paint along with me.  ( none got into his eyes or mouth. We made sure.)  I just need to stick to painting objects that don't fight back.

Excuse me when I meant we, I meant Tom. Glass wear needed to be packed and we ran outta newspaper to wrap them in, so Tom got creative! Can anyone guess what he used??

If you guessed diapers, you are CORRECT! We had some left over newborn diapers and what better way to make sure your full covered on all sides. So Just in case they did break, there is a leak guard! haha

Across the State. Twice.

Tytan and I have recently just got back from our travels. We traveled to St. George to watch my sister, Andrea, run at her track meet over the weekend. It was wonderful to see her, and watch her do what she does best. Run. I haven't seen her since she moved down there in Feb. to live with Grandma. And I had yet to see Grandmas new house. Which by the way was beautiful.  
Tytan and I traveled down with my family, and that was a ride, 5 hours in a car with kids who start to go crazy because they have been sitting to long. Fun, huh? Okay they were doing much better than they have in the past, I'll give them that. Tytan, however, amazingly slept the whole way there and back. Maybe waking up once to eat for 5 minutes before dulling of to sleep with the rhythm of the car against the road.  Hes such a good baby. :D  While I was excited to leave snowy cold Logan and Salt Lake to hit warm sunshiny St. George, we arrived to cold, windy weather. So while sitting at the track meet, in cold, wet, and windy weather with a baby was not an easy task. And to make it worse, no one really ever knows how to run a track meet on schedule. It took forever to get to Andrea's events. Although, when finished with her races, her times placed her into the finals. So on sat, we all traveled back over to Pine View High School to watch the final races. Exciting, no not really. It was raining all that day and she missed placing for state by like a foot. 

So when the track meets ended, we were able to spend time with Grandma D.  Which was nice, we played cards and the Wii.  Tytans aunts and uncles loved spending time with him. Each time I laid him on the floor, they were right next to him keeping him company. They also got a kick out of Tytan this weekend, because Tytan had some gas which gave him loud nasty smelling farts. You know how boys, and young kids think thats so funny.  But it was nice, he was entertained and they were entertained. I could relax. Not to mention Grandma and Great Grandma loved holding him also. Grandpa was okay holding him till he cried. 

So we arrived on a cold wet Friday only to leave on a gorgeous sunshiny Sunday.  You  could just feel the suns warmth, ah.  Then Monday morning came back to snowy Logan.  Overall it was a great trip, Tom wasn't able to come and I missed him terribly but it was nice to spend time with my family, more or less my sister that I don't see very much anymore.  :D

Falling Alseep

Well everyone! We have just made a discovery. I woke up to Tytan talking to himself one morning and as I looked over to smile at him, he was not in the same position that I had laid him in the night before. We lay him vertically in his bed when we go to bed, and i woke up to him horizontally in his bed. I stared for a moment and quickly shook Tom awake to ask him if he did this sometime in the night. He said very sleepily , " What are you talking about crazy?". I am not crazy.

 We both didn't touch him and then the other thought that crossed my mind was Ghosts. Now I sound crazy, I thought that because I was stupid enough to watch Ghost Hunters all by myself and think about it before I fell asleep. Which equaled, freaking myself into thinking my apartment was haunted. Go me.  So now we have come to the conclusion that Tytan is strong enough to move himself around on his own.  He has done it multiple nights now, its no ghost. :D Whew.  Here are the before and after pictures that i took of him. My little man.

March Madness???

The coming of the end of march, sweet! While everyone else considers the month of March to be MARCH MADNESS for basketball. I find it to be the month of madness for packing up my current living space and trying to make all the boxes fit into small spaces. I really could care less about basketball because Tom and I are not much into watching sports. Although I will watch the Utes football games and some baseball occasionally. And I know for a fact that the people below us do not care about basketball either. For the fact of, I am sure hearing the word GOAL echoing through my apartment implies soccer. Although who ever reads this and just loves basketball, I think you were dropped on your head as a child and no one told you. Just kidding.
  Meanwhile, I have boxes everywhere and messes everywhere. As our soon to move date is almost upon us. I am so excited!

Awesome Band-aids 

On March 19th our little boy became 2 months old! Hooray! And we all know that 2 months old means 2 month old vaccinations. Tytan got his on the 21st, which was sad. I am sure no one really likes to be poked with a needle. Unless your into something you should not be.  He did very well, he had two shots in one leg and one in the other. Then he had an oral vaccination. Doctor said he was growing and advanced development for his age. :D He holds his head very very well and we believe his eye site is very good because he has to look at everything. He will be so tired and eyes can't stay open and all the sudden hes looking around. Tytan also weighs 11 lbs 1 oz and is 23 inches long, or so they say, I think  hes a little longer. His head was not straight when they measured him. Hes also sleeping 5-6 hours at one time at night! Which I love!
